The Motorola Dext is a sturdy Smartphone weighing 163 grams, based on the Google Android operating system and also the first. There is a slide out QWERTY keyboard and versatile touch screen display making texting, e-mailing and using the internet quite easy. The phone comes with Accuweather for the latest weather forecast, Google maps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity allowing the user to be connected wherever they are.

Like many other phones, the Motorola Dext also comes with a music player but allows music to be played in various file types such as MP3, WAV, MIDI, AMR NB, AAC, AAC+ which is more than the average phones on the market.
